PrepMate operates this website and all related tools, content, features, products and services ("Services"). PrepMate is powered by Shopify. Use of AI-Powered Tools

PrepMate offers AI-powered tools including the Resume Scorer and Interview Practice Tool. By using these tools and submitting your details through the access form, you consent to the collection and processing of the information you provide, including your name, email address, resume content, job descriptions, and interview responses.

This information is used solely to:

  • Generate your personalised results and scores
  • Send you a copy of your results where applicable
  • Send relevant interview preparation tips and PrepMate updates

Content submitted through our tools is processed by Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI) to generate scores and feedback. By submitting content, you confirm you have the right to share that content and consent to it being processed for the purpose of generating your results. Submitted content is not stored permanently by PrepMate or used to train AI models.

If you are a registered PrepMate account holder, your use of these tools constitutes ongoing consent to this data collection in accordance with this policy. For new users, consent is obtained via a checkbox at the point of data collection.

You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • To provide and improve the Services including processing purchases, managing your account, fulfilling coaching sessions, and improving our tools and content.
  • To communicate with you including sending booking confirmations, session reminders, results from our tools, and relevant preparation tips.
  • For marketing including sending promotional emails about our programs and tools. You may opt out at any time.
  • For security and fraud prevention including protecting your account and detecting fraudulent or malicious activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations including responding to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities.

How We Share Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

  • With Shopify as our ecommerce and hosting provider. Shopify processes personal information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
  • With Anthropic as our AI provider, solely to process tool submissions and return results. Anthropic does not use submitted content to train their models.
  • With payment processors including Shopify Payments, to securely process transactions.
  • With analytics providers including Google Analytics, to understand how our Services are used.
  • As required by law including to comply with legal process, court orders, or government requests.
  • In a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, where your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Services, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors interact with our website. Tool submission data (resume text, interview responses) is not retained beyond the active session unless you have an account and your results are associated with it.

We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you not to share sensitive information over unsecured channels.
